Founded in 1826 in the Hungarian village of Herend the tradition of hand painted porcelain continues to this day. Herend gained international recognition through a series of world exhibitions during the 1800’s. Its list of distinguished customers has included Queen Victoria and the Rothschild family. The charming Rothschild Bird pattern includes a necklace on every plate.
