Atkinson's is a privately owned business located in the prestigious South Granville shopping district. We are a high-end tabletop and linen store. We require an energetic, dynamic, driven Sales Associate who has a proven sales record in high-end merchandise. We provide a very comfortable work environment with a low staff turnover rate.
Essential Duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Possess strong ability to absorb product knowledge
- Advise and assist customers with their choices of products for themselves and as gifts
- Product merchandising and ensuring displays are kept clean
- Capture client information and actively develop a client base, consistently adding information to further promote store relationships.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- High expectations placed on teamwork and the ability to work professionally with fellow sales associates.
Education and/or Experience
- Previous work experience should include retail sales
- Experience in luxury goods are desired
- Mandarin speaking is desired, but not required
- Computer skills -- ability to operate Microsoft windows programs and POS systems
Selling Skills: A positive professional attitude and presentation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public
