Flying under the radar at our 6th and Granville corner, we just might be Canada's best kept secret among discerning libation consumers. On the second floor of our two story building lies one of the largest selections of luxury barware and bar tools in North America.

For nearly 30 years Atkinson's has featured Europe's finest barware from storied brands like Baccarat, St. Louis, Hermes, Moser, Waterford, Orrefors and Riedel to name a few. Handmade pieces that are crafted in the same spirit of a well made cocktail or single malt, with extreme care, patience and personal attention to detail.

As fortunate Vancouverites, we are currently immersed in a talented pool of cocktail specialists that are among the world's best.

-David Wolowidnyk of West, crowned the world's most imaginative bartender in Morocco by Bombay Gin.

-Danielle Tatarin of the Keefer, 2012 Vancouver Magazine Bartender of the Year among other accolades.

-Brad Stanton and Cooper Tardivel of Hawksworth received the Seal of the Sazerac by The New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society.

-Shaun Layton, talented 2010 bartender of the year of L'abbatoir.

-Jay Jones, award-winning industry veteran of Market at Shangri-La.

-Lauren Mote, another multi-award winner formally of The Refinery (now Kale and Nori).

All of them are members of The Canadian Professional Bartenders Association (CPBA), an organization committed to furthering the profession of bartending in Canada. If you haven't experienced a convivial night out courtesy of one of the above I suggest taking swift action! It would be a shame not to take advantage of all this local talent.
